Guiomar, Irene y Vera en Technovation Challenge

Ayer, sábado 1 de junio, tres alumnas de ESO-3 de nuestro IES (Irene Castellote, Guiomar Izquierdo y Vera Rodríguez) participaron en el concurso internacional Technovation Challenge, cuyo objetivo es potenciar el papel de la mujer en el mundo de la tecnología.

Para poder participar en este concurso, Irene, Guiomar y Vera han tenido que desarrollar durante meses una aplicación móvil que pretenda dar solución a un problema de la localidad.

El equipo TecteS21, formado por las tres alumnas mencionadas, desarrollaron la aplicación “Alertgram”, cuyo objetivo es contribuir a la erradicación de la violencia de género, problema de nuestra sociedad actual que tiene amedrentadas a mujeres y adolescentes.

En la fase de selección de finalistas que tuvo lugar ayer en Zaragoza, el equipo TecteS21 quedó en tercer lugar, por lo que no pudo pasar a la final internacional. Sin embargo, obtuvo el Premio a la Mejor Idea Femenina, destacando la finalidad de su aplicación, así como la especial característica del BOTÓN DEL PÁNICO (que hace que esta aplicación sea única).
